A versatile and handsome porcelain place setting, Emmeline is a blend of modern and old world design. The blue and white floral motifs were reproduced from Chinese Export porcelain circa 1755, a new look for the factories at that time. Drawings were sent to China to instruct artists in European style decoration to accommodate the changing tastes of the West, towards more floral designs. 
The porcelain dessert/salad plate  is 8.5". Also available a 5 piece place setting, a dinner plate (10.5"), and rimmed soup plate (9").
